On Tuesday, Park Shin Hye's agency, SALT Entertainment, confirmed that the actress is pregnant with her first child with the actor. The label added the couple will tie knots on January 22.
The agency's statement also detailed that The Heirs actress had already reached the early stages of pregnancy while preparing for the ceremony. Aside from that information, SALT Entertainment refused to share more details about the new development – like the wedding's venue – to respect the couple's privacy.
In the end, the label thanked everyone who loves and supports Park Shin Hye and Choi Tae Joon all these years.

Meanwhile, Park Shin Hye personally shared the news with her fans through her fan café.
"I will be getting married to a friend I have been seeing for a long time. I'm going to start my life as a part of a married couple with the person who has been supporting me this whole time, and has been able to cover up the shortcomings I have," she said.
The 32-year-old actress took her time to reminisce about how time flew so fast for her and her fans. As a star who began her career at a young age, Park Shin Hye already became part of several productions.
Though she was nervous that her fans might be surprised by the news, Park Shin Hye braved everything and told them about the new things in her life. In return, she assured them she is marrying the right man who "embraced all of the shortcomings of the person Park Shin Hye."

Following Park Shin Hye's statement, Choi Tae Joon also released his statement on his fan café.
In his letter, the actor called Park Shin Hye a savior who has been with him through ups and downs. After facing hardships in the past years, he expressed his desire to finally marry her.
"Now, I will show you my responsibility as a member of a family, and as actor Choi Tae Joon, I will greet you with acting that meets your expectations," he went on.
Choi Tae Joon is most famous for his role in the 2018 melodrama, Exit. He has been part of the industry since 2001, and he has already starred in several roles in TV series and movies. Among his notable flicks include Eclipse, Pacemaker, A Girl Who Sees Smells, Missing 9, Suspicious Partner, and So I Married The Anti-Fan.
Meanwhile, Park Shin Hye is one of the most popular Korean actresses in the industry. She initially scored fame by starring in the award-winning TV series, Stairway to Heaven and Tree of Heaven.
