Squid Game actress Jung Ho Yeon officially expanded her career following the Netflix series' success.

For over a decade, Jung Ho Yeon has conquered the local and international industries as a runway and freelance model. She began her career in 2010 by walking during Seoul Fashion Week. The spotlight then allowed her to shine during Korea's Next Top Model Season 4.

She then braved everything and stepped up as an international model by appearing in the New York Fashion Week. In 2021, she became a global ambassador for Louis Vuitton years after being exclusive with the brand.

Jung Ho Yeon only started as an actress through the Netflix series Squid Game under Saram Entertainment in Korea. Now, she is expected to bloom more as an actress and model with her recent milestone.

Following the continuous success of Squid Game, Jung Ho Yeon officially sealed an official contract with Creative Artists Agency. CAA is one of the largest agencies in the US, and the deal officially opened her door into Hollywood.

Multiple news outlets, including Deadline, revealed that several Hollywood agencies started courting Squid Game creator Hwang Dong-Hyuk and the series' cast members to international stardom.

Director Hwang Dong-Hyuk already met with other agencies apart from CAA, including United Talent Agency and William Morris Endeavor. Other cast members, especially Lee Jung Jae and Park Hae Soo, also began talks with international US-based companies.

Despite finding a new agency, Jung Ho Yeon will still be under South Korea's Saram Entertainment.

In addition to the new milestone, the actress also became the most-followed Squid Game star with 23.6 million followers as of the press time.

Squid Game officially smashed Bridgerton's previous record, with viewers spending 1.65 billion hours during the series first 28 days.

Director Hwang Dong-Hyuk did not end the hype there as he confirmed to CNN that he is already up to create the second season.

"Writing, producing, and directing a series alone was really such a big task. When I think about doing the same for Season 2, I'm personally kind of worried. There's nothing confirmed at the moment, but so many people are enthusiastic that I'm really contemplating it," he said.

With that scheduled return, getting the show's creator and cast members would be profitable – and CAA scored the first win with Jung Ho Yeon.
