Park Seo Joon and IU will finally resume filming their new movie, Dream. Since last year, the film’s production has been halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the cast members’ hectic schedules.

Now, everything is set to continue Dream’s filming this March. According to reports, Park Seo Joon and IU are also scheduled to leave the country and fly overseas for the movie’s production.

Park Seo Joon, IU to Resume Filming Dream

Park Seo Joon will play the role of Yoon Hong Dae in the new Lee Byeong Heon-directed film. He’s a soccer player who was caught in the middle of an unexpected incident that put him under disciplinary action.

Alternatively, IU will portray Lee So Min, a producer who makes a documentary about the national soccer team. By the looks of it, this incident will make their paths meet.

Dream follows the story of Yoon Hong Dae, who faces disciplinary action to coach a team of homeless people to win an annual international soccer event called Homeless World Cup. This group has never played any soccer game before and their victory lies in Yoon Hong Dae’s hands.

Here’s Why Park Seo Joon, IU’s Dream has been Put to a Halt

In July 2021, news emerged that the overseas filming of Dream had been put to a stop due to the rising cases of Covid-19 in South Korea.

According to Pink Villa, industry sources claimed the movie’s production crew decided to postpone the film’s production and continue the overseas filming this year. Aside from the rising Covid-19 cases, there were also scheduling conflicts amongst the cast members.
