After parting ways with his longtime label, Blossom Entertainment rumors sparked that Park Bo Gum is joining YG Entertainment.

In December 2022, the agency released an official statement announcing the decision of the Record of Youth star regarding his contract renewal.

Park Bo Gum Leaves Longtime Agency, Blossom Entertainment

In a report cited by Soompi, Blossom Entertainment confirmed that Park Bo Gum’s exclusive contract with them has expired and after 10 years, the actor chose not to renew his contract.

“We decided to respect the decision of actor Park Bo Gum, who has been with us for a long time, and we both agreed to wish the best for each other’s future at our respective positions,” the agency said in a statement

While Park Bo Gum is starting the year as a free agent, several reports noted that the South Korean heartthrob will be joining YG Entertainment.

Interestingly, he was reportedly influenced by Jinusean's Sean, who is his running mate and a director of YG Entertainment.

YG Entertainment Clarifies Rumor About Park Bo Gum

Following the news regarding Park Bo Gum’s new agency, YG Entertainment clarified the rumors and addressed speculations regarding the actor.

In a statement, obtained by an outlet, the label denied the rumors saying, “It is not true that Park Bo Gum is joining YG Entertainment.

Interestingly, the South Korean heartthrob is set to star in an interesting K-drama together with IU.

The upcoming drama series is helmed by Kim Won Suk of Arthdal Chronicles, and Signal, and penned by Im Sang Choon of When the Camellia Blooms and Fight for My Way.
