Overwatch Gets New Halloween Skins, Game Mode & Poses in Video

And Halloween finally begins for Overwatch players. After so many teasers and sightings for a new seasonal event, Blizzard has finally released the official trailer for its Overwatch Halloween Terror event.

Seen below, the trailer features a sneak peek of the Loot Boxes, the new costumes, and Junkenstein's freaky friends.

Go trick-or-treating in style with the new seasonal Loot Boxes in the shape of Jack o' Lanterns. Each Loot Box will contain at least one item from the Halloween 2016 collection, with over 100 cosmetic treats in tow. These range from profile icons, sprays, victory poses, emotes, highlight intros, and skins, among others. For those who are impatient about unlocking them, you can also use credits via the Hero Gallery during the event.

"The fright for the future has begun, heroes, and for the next three weeks, we're celebrating the spookiest time of the year in true Overwatch fashion—with a brand new seasonal event! Explore the haunted streets of Hollywood, expand your collection of themed holiday items, and relive a chilling tale in our first-ever PvE brawl: Junkenstein's Revenge!"

In addition, Blizzard also hinted at a new Halloween Terror event via the co-op PvE brawl titled Junkenstein's Revenge. Here, players can team up with three of their friends to battle against the freaky friends, Junkenstein's Monster, the Reaper, a witch, zomnics, and Dr. Junkenstein.

The four players who will be thwarting Junkenstein's plans can come from the Alchemist Ana, Archer Hanzo, Gunslinger McCree, and Soldier Soldier: 76.

The new Overwatch Halloween Terror 2016 event is already live on the PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The event will run until Nov. 1, just in time for the spookiest day of the year.
