Outlander Season 5 is finally coming to Netflix, and it will arrive soon! The streaming giant already confirmed that it will be released this May, which is when it's expected to arrive.
Fans all over the world have been wondering when Outlander Season 5 will be released on Netflix. After all, Season 6 is almost over on Starz. The fan-favorite time-travelling drama began airing in 2014, and it finally arrived on Netflix in 2019 with Seasons 1 and 2 added in May 2019. Season 3 arrived in December 2019, and Season 4 was released on Netflix in January 2021.
Outside of the United States, the streamer also has Outlander available in most regions including Netflix Canada, Australia, India, Latin American regions, some Asian regions as well as some European countries. The majority of these regions receive weekly episodes of the show and are currently streaming the first five seasons.
However, Outlander is not available to stream in the United Kingdom because Amazon owns the rights to stream it in that region, so it's only available on Prime Video in the U.K., where it's considered an "Amazon Exclusive".
When will Outlander Season 5 arrive on Netflix?
Netflix in the United States receives new seasons of Outlander exactly two years after their finale airs on Starz in the US, so Season 5 is expected to arrive in May 2022. Unfortunately, this means Netflix-only fans will not be able to catch up on Season 5 before Season 6 premieres.
In late April, Netflix confirmed that Outlander Season 5 will be available to stream on Netflix US starting May 10, 2022.
