A new mythical Pokemon was teased for Pokemon Sword and Shield, with The Pokemon Company confirming that this new monster would be announced next week, on the 27th and will officially debut in the next Pokemon movie. While no new details on this Pokemon have been announced, The Pokemon Company has revealed a new "look" at this mythical creature. And by new look, we mean a slightly more detailed silhouette.
Yay?
It's...something? The creature's head looks a bit like Haunter but we're 100% sure that the new mythical Pokemon will not be a Haunter. The silhouette doesn't really give us any information aside from what it might look like and we're sure some hardcore fans will try to fill in the details themselves but that won't matter since The Pokemon Company has plans to reveal the Pokemon next week.
The next movie coming out for this franchise is Pokemon The Movie: Coco. This is going to be a brand-new adventure that has Ash and Pikachu go to a jungle and meet some boy who has been living there for all these years. It seems like a Tarzan plot without the romance, though at least we will be getting some Pokemon.
Fans will finally be able to see the new mythical Pokemon next week, on February 27. Pokemon Sword and Shield are now available on Nintendo Switch.
