Moon Knight
is a highly-anticipated addition to Marvel's expanding universe, featuring the debut of the well-acclaimed actor, Oscar Isaac into the MCU. Moon Knight's distinction from other Disney+ series is the show's themes, which focused on mental health disorders and supernatural Egyptian mythology, which aren't usually present in a Marvel series. While Gods and mythology are no stranger to the MCU, it's still unclear how Moon Knight will join the rest of Marvel's lineup of superheroes.

Moon Knight is going to be an origin story compared to previous Disney+ series like WandaVision and Loki, which featured a deeper understanding of the characters. Now, introducing a new character into the MCU sparks a very usual question, will there be a future crossover with other MCU heroes?

In an interview with GamesRadar, Moon Knight lead star Oscar Isaac teases the show's ending and what's next for the titular character after its debut.

Isaac explained, "I wouldn't want to spoil anything, but what I can say is that what we really tried to do is map out the journey of integration and then how that is a step in healing from trauma, and that the real superpower that this character, or these characters, have is their experiences. And when those things can be integrated, as opposed to pushed away, that's where real strength comes from."

When asked about future crossovers with other MCU characters, Isaac dodged the question saying, "I didn't look at my contract [laughs]. I mean, I don't know. For me, it's such a point of view character that seeing him in something that was a bigger point of view, I don't know how that character operates in that world."

However, the actor expressed an interest in joining Marvel comics Midnight Sons, "I mean, maybe. Obviously, there's the Midnight Sons comic book, which is the kind of supernatural Avengers with Blade and Ghost Rider and Punisher. The idea is really interesting, but it would have to be like, is there something interesting to tell about this character in that world?

Moon Knight is reportedly an origin story for Marc Spector and will solely focus on the character together with its Egyptian mythology ties. The appearance of other MCU heroes is already crossed out, despite the Hulk crossover rumors, the production team together with Oscar Isaac already debunked these speculations several times.

While it's too early to distinguish Moon Knight's next adventure after the series, the character can definitely join the Midnight Sons or even the Avengers in the future. The MCU is full of tricks and they can still play with Marc Spector's character in the future franchise.

Moon Knight will premiere on Disney+ on March 30.
