One of the biggest mysteries right now on Only Murders in the Building season 4 is the death of Milton Dudenoff, which the main trio suspected to be connected to the murder of Sazz Pataki.

In last week's episode, it was suspected that the Westies may have had a role in Dudenoff's death after the trio learned that they were cashing his checks long after he was killed.

This article includes spoilers for Only Murders in the Building season 4 episode 8, so proceed with caution.

While evidence may suggest that the Westies were the masterminds behind Dudenoff's mysterious death, as it turns out, they did not kill him at all.

Dudenoff died by suicide after overdosing on lethal pills. He decided to end his life to protect the Westies from losing their homes. He tasked the Westies to dispose of his body in the incinerator and keep his suicide a secret from Helga.

In addition, Dudenoff also allowed the Westies to cash his security checks and instructed them to say that he had moved to Portugal if ever someone was looking for him.

After the confession, the main trio promised that they would not reveal the truth in their podcast and not report it to the authorities despite Eva Longoria secretly recording it on tape.

Who is the New Suspect in the Murder of Sazz Pataki?

While the mysterious death of Dudenoff has been solved, the main trio is still figuring out who killed their friend Sazz Pataki.

The Westies have been crossed off the list after hearing their confession on the death of Dudenoff and realizing that they have nothing to do with Sazz's murder.

Near the end of the episode, Helga visited the trio and revealed that she communicated with Sazz on ham radio regarding the plot holes in the podcast.

Helga shared that Sazz had a stuntman protege in a project called Project Ronkonkoma who she considered to be dangerous and "messed up pretty badly."

The trio realized through searching the IMDb page that the stuntman protege that Sazz was talking about is Glen Stubbins, who is currently hospitalized after getting shot in the film's photoshoot.

This makes Glen Stubbins the new prime suspect for the murder of Sazz Pataki and the next episode will see the trio explore his connection to the character and find out whether he was the one who killed her.
