It's still a few weeks before its premiere but we now have our first glimpse at One Piece Episode 1000. The key visual for One Piece Season 20 Episode 111 has just been revealed.
The key art was actually teased back in September, showing only part of the poster. This portion, which shows Luffy and Kaido facing off against each other, is actually the center part of the full key visual. Check it out below.
It's great to see the Straw Hat crew on Luffy's side of the poster while the Beasts Pirates are right behind Kaido. This certainly means that One Piece Episode 1000 will be all about an epic showdown between the two groups.
The official title for One Piece Episode 1000 has not yet been revealed but it is already expected to premiere in mid-November. To celebrate the anime reaching a total of 1,000 episodes, Toei Animation has prepared a special treat for fans in the US.
It was previously reported that there will be a special two-night screening event for One Piece Film: Strong World in November. The English dub will screen in theaters on the first night while the sub is scheduled for the second night. This will be the first time that the 2009 movie will screen in theaters in the US and is a truly exciting chance for fans of the franchise.
One Piece is one of the most successful Japanese franchises in history. It started out as a manga by Eiichiro Oda back in 1997 and has since spawned the anime, light novels, and video games. As of September 2021, the numerous manga chapters have been compiled in 100 tankobon volumes. By late November 2021, the anime will have released 1000 episodes based on the manga. A live-action series is currently in the works at Netflix.
The One Piece Film: Strong World two-night screening event is on November 7 and 9, 2021. One Piece Episode 1000 is expected to premiere on November 21, 2021.
