One Piece Film Confirmed to Screen in US Theaters for Special Two-Night Event

One Piece is coming to theaters this November! In celebration of the anime's 1000th episode, Toei Animation is dropping a special two-night screening event of One Piece Film: Strong World.

Toei Animation announced the special event in their official Twitter account along with a new teaser for Strong World. Check it out below.

The special two-night event is made possible by Toei Animation's collaboration with Fathom Events. The first night of screening will actually take place on the same day as the premiere of One Piece Episode 998 in Japan.

One Piece Film: Strong World was released in 2009 and is the tenth movie of the franchise. The film follows the villainous captain Shiki as he kidnaps Nami in hopes that he could force her to join his crew. This way, he can finally conquer the East Blue. However, Luffy and his own crew are determined to stop him and rescue Nami.

Although it was released more than 20 years ago, this will be the first time that Strong World will be screened in theaters in the US. Needless to say, it's an excellent way to celebrate One Piece getting 1000 episodes and we can't wait for the special event.
