One Piece Chapter 1,050 Recap
At the Flower Capital, the Fire Festival is about to end. Toko asks Tenguyama about her father, Yasuie. Tenguyama explains Yasuie's sacrifice for the sake of Toko and Wano's future.
After learning that, Toko decided to change the message on her lantern. Instead, she thanks her father in the message.
Meanwhile, Nekomamushi announces Luffy's victory. He also explains how Momonosuke saved Onigashima from crashing onto the ground.
Everyone begins celebrating. Momonosuke tells Zunesha he won't open the borders of Wano just yet.
However, the Beasts Pirates refuse to believe Kaido's defeat. Yamato tells them to stop; otherwise, he'll take action against it. Later on, the ground suddenly begins shaking, and people assume an earthquake is coming.
In Udon, someone informs Babanuki that something is happening to the seafloor. A volcanic eruption occurs from underwater, and the narration officially announces Luffy as the winner of the battle.
The eruption is seen all the way until the Flower Capital. Momonosuke flies there to assure the people are safe, but they mistake him for Kaido.
Momonosuke clarifies he isn't Kaido and switches back to his human form. Hiyori and Denjiro emerge from the smoke, and Denjiro tells the people that the new shogun of Wano has arrived.
