There is little doubt that One Piece fans are already hyped up about the major announcement that the franchise's official Twitter account has been teasing about. But is it possible that it won't be a single announcement at all? The latest tweet may have confirmed that there will be multiple updates that will be dropped next Monday!

Since Sunday, March 20, 2022, the official One Piece Twitter account has been dropping teasers hyping up a major announcement that will be made on Monday, March 28, 2022. The first few tweets hinted at a possible update on the live-action Netflix series. However, the latest one points to a different project.

The new tweet is an obvious reference to One Piece Film: RED, which just got an awesome update earlier today. At this point, people are convinced that there will be more than just one major news that will be dropped on March 28. There is a possibility that all upcoming One Piece projects will get updates on this date. This would include the film, the live-action series, the manga, and the delayed anime.

There were already previous speculations that the announcement could be connected to One Piece Episode 1014, which has been delayed due to the Toei Animation hack. For now, the upcoming episode has not yet been given a new release date as the anime is currently on indefinite hiatus. However, fans are hoping that we'll get some hopeful news next week.

The date is a truly exciting one for more than just the possible updates. March 28 is also the day when One Piece Chapter 1044 will finally be released after a brief delay. Needless to say, we can't wait until next Monday.

One Piece Chapter 1044 will be published in Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #18, which will also feature the manga on the cover and lead color page. The issue will be available on Monday, March 28, 2022.
