Olivia Wilde finally broke her silence about her romance with Harry Styles and called out her ex-lover, Jason Sudeikis, over his “vicious” attacks.
Olivia Wilde Breaks Silence On Custody Docs From Jason Sudeikis
Taking to Variety, the Butter star talked about getting custody papers from Sudeikis while speaking onstage to introduce her imminent thriller titled “Don’t Worry Darling” at CinemaCon in April.
A source familiar with the issue but not authorized to speak publicly told USA TODAY, that the papers were related to establishing jurisdiction over Wilde and Sudeikis’ kids – Otis and Daisy. The former lovebirds were engaged for seven years before calling it quits in November 2020.

The unidentified insider also said to USA TODAY that Sudeikis was not aware when or when the papers would be handed to his ex-ladylove and would reportedly never approve of the actress-director getting them in that manner.
Olivia Wilde, in a Variety profile, stated:
"It was my workplace. In any other workplace, it would be seen as an attack. It was really upsetting. It shouldn’t have been able to happen."
The TRON: Legacy actress also mentioned that the incident involved “a huge breach in security, which is really scary. Wilde furthered:
"The hurdles that you had to jump through to get into that room with several badges, plus special COVID tests that had to be taken days in advance, which gave you wristbands that were necessary to gain access to the event — this was something that required forethought.”
Olivia Wilde, who said it was not much of a shock, also claimed that the incident distracted her from the work that went into Don’t Worry Darling. She stated:
"I hated that this nastiness distracted from the work of so many different people and the studio that I was up there representing. To try to sabotage that was really vicious. But I had a job to do; I’m not easily distracted. It was not something that was entirely surprising to me. I mean, there’s a reason I left that relationship."

The Year One star also shared that she currently splits custody of her children with Sudeikis. Wilde added that her kids would be the most hurt by the CinemaCon fiasco, saying:
"The only people who suffered were my kids, because they’ll have to see that, and they shouldn’t ever have to know that happened. For me, it was appalling, but the victims were an 8- and 5-year-old, and that’s really sad. I chose to become an actress; I willingly walked into the spotlight. But it’s not something my children have asked for. And when my kids are dragged into it, it’s deeply painful."

"I’m not going to say anything about it because I’ve never seen a relationship benefit from being dragged into the public arena. We both go out of our way to protect our relationship; I think it’s out of [the] experience, but also just out of deep love."
