For its 21st season, NCIS has brought back most of its familiar faces. But for NCIS season 21 episode 2: The Stories We Leave Behind, the episode gives tribute to an actor they recently lost.
In the 459th episode of the whole NCIS series, the cast mourned the passing of Dr. Donald "Ducky" Mallard (played by David McCallum).
The cast played tribute to McCallum, who died of natural causes at the age of 90 on September 25, 2023.
The cast in the episode included series regulars such as Sean Murray (as Timothy McGee), Wilmer Valderrama (as Nicholas Torres), Brian Dietzen (as James Palmer), Diona Reasonover (as Kasie Hines), Katrina Law (as Jessica Knight), Rocky Carroll (as Leon Vance), and Gary Cole (as Alden Parker).
Since it was a special episode, Michael Weatherly, a previous cast member, made an appearance to "celebrate a great man." Weatherly used to play Tony DiNozzo in NCIS.
Who Is Olivia Sanabia in NCIS?
In this episode, the agents work on one of Ducky's unfinished cases. It involved the case of a young woman whose dad was discharged dishonorably from the Marines.
This young woman, called Serena Zawadski, was portrayed by Olivia Sanabia on NCIS' The Stories We Leave Behind episode.
Although we don't know much about her character, we know that she is the daughter of Daniel Zawadski, a former Marine Corps Sergeant who was dishonorably discharged and killed.
Ducky promised to help her, but he suddenly passed away. This is why Serena is asking for help from the other NCIS team members.
In the episode, she seeks help from the NCIS team to investigate the claims made against her father. She also warns the team that the person they need to look for is running for the Senate.

What Is Olivia Sanabia's Age? Where You've Seen Her Before
Based on her IMDb page, Sanabia's age is 20. She also hails from Southern California. She started acting at the age of six when she landed a role in musical theater.
Some of her early works include several commercials and guest roles on various TV shows, including Sam & Cat, Extant, Life in Pieces, and Just Add Magic.
She then became part of Disney Channel's Coop and Cami Ask the World sitcom.
Aside from acting, Sanabia has released a couple of original singles titled Stars Crossed and The Train.
