Old Spice's Isaiah Mustafa Cast as Adult Mike in IT: Chapter 2

Over the months Andy Muschietti's IT: Chapter 2 had been slowly building up its adult cast, and the movie has finally cast its final grown-up Loser with the adult Mike.

As per a post by original Mike Chosen Jacobs, the person taking on the role of adult Mike will be Isaiah Mustafa. Mustafa currently has a prominent role in Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments, but he is probably best known for being the Old Spice guy.

Mustafa will be joining a cast that includes Jessica Chastain (Bev), James McAvoy (Bill), Bill Hader (Richie), Andy Bean (Stanley), James Ransone (Eddie), and Jay Ryan (Ben). Of course, Bill Skarsgard is also coming back as Pennywise the Clown.

The IT reboot has come out to be one of the most successful horror movies of all time, and the film lauds itself for some genuine creeps and a magnificent child cast. Seeing that the adult parts of the book are considered the weaker bits of the story, hopefully Muschietti finds an interesting way to bring everything together full circle.

I don't think anyone needs a build-up for a third film.

It: Chapter 2 is currently set to come out Sept. 6, 2019.
