Oh My Girl started New Year with a blast as the 7-piece reportedly began preparing for their return this month. WM Entertainment did not release any details about the return. However, following the emergence of the report, the agency officially confirmed the news.

It will be their latest project 10 months after releasing Dear OHMYGIRL in May 2021. It was the group’s eighth EP which included the lead single Dun Dun Dance – the song that became the group's first-chart topper after scoring top spot on the Gaon Digital Chart.

Oh My Girl is Back with Real Love

Oh My Girl’s Twitter account shared a cryptic .gif on Monday of what seems to be a perfume bottle with a ribbon. Its name also shows the word Real Love – the album’s official title.

The caption posted with the teaser reads, as translated by Soompi, “‘Real Love’ that feels more like a scene in a movie than a coincidence.”

The group said they would be returning with the second full-length album on March 28 at 6:00 p.m. KST. Further details about the album – including the tracklist and the main single – remain unknown.

Oh My Girl has constantly released hit songs following their 2015 EP Oh My Girl. The group gained further success with their singles, Secret Garden and The Fifth Season, among others.

Oh My Girl YooA Tests Positive For COVID-19

Unfortunately, YooA might not be able to be part of the comeback as WM Entertainment confirmed that the K-pop idol tested positive for COVID-19.

According to the agency, YooA first tested positive on March 5 using a self-test kit. This prompted her to undergo PCR testing, and the result also came back positive.

WM Entertainment said she would be suspending her activities in the meantime to focus on her recovery.

“We will do our best to focus on treatment and recovery, and we consider the health and safety of artists as our top priority. In addition, we will faithfully cooperate with the requests and guidelines of the quarantine authorities,” the statement went on.
