A wrap gift from the show's production has been revealed and it might finally confirm the young actor who will play Princess Leia Organa in the upcoming Disney+ drama!
The item, which appears to be a wrap gift celebrating the end of Obi-Wan Kenobi's production, has been spotted on Production Treasures, a site that sells collectibles from TV shows and movies. The item itself is a worry stone with a message from Bird Box actress Vivien Lyra Blair, who was previously reported to play young Leia in the series.
"'I have a good feeling about this!' Love, Vivien Lyra Blair 2021 JT," the message on the stone reads. It's a cool reference to Han Solo's infamous Star Wars line and a fitting one considering that Blair is believed to be playing Princess Leia in Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Back in July 2021, it was reported that Blair is joining the cast of Obi-Wan Kenobi. Although her role in the show was not announced, fans were quick to point out that the young actress has a striking resemblance to a young Carrie Fisher and would be perfect as Leia. Now that Blair is making a reference to Han Solo, it's possible that the speculations were spot-on.
It has already been confirmed that young Luke Skywalker will be played by Grant Feely, who has already received Mark Hamill's blessing in an awesome Twitter interaction. With that in mind, we can't wait to see the young versions of the Skywalker twins later this May.
Obi-Wan Kenobi will bring back Star Wars prequel trilogy actors Ewan McGregor, Hayden Christensen, Joel Edgerton, and Bonnie Piesse. They will be joined by Rupert Friend, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Simone Kessell, O'Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Maya Erskine, and Rory Ross.
The Obi-Wan Kenobi show will be a limited series consisting of six episodes. It will premiere on Disney+ on May 25, 2022.
