Just when we thought we already knew everything about Order 66, its casualties, and survivors, the upcoming Star Wars spinoff show Obi-Wan Kenobi is set to reveal new information regarding the Jedi purge that a lot of us weren't aware of. And according to a new leak, the highly-anticipated series top-billed by the returning Ewan McGregor will introduce a brand new Jedi to the universe.

Bespin Bulletin recently reported that actor Benny Safdie will be playing a Jedi named "Nari" who's searching for Obi-Wan. However, the Inquisitors hunt him down and force him to Tatooine. As it stands, very little is known about this new character and his true relationship with Obi-Wan and potentially Luke Skywalker but judging by the character description, it looks like this new Jedi warrior will play a significant role in the show.

Safdie's casting was officially confirmed last year and he even made an appearance in the recently-released trailer for Obi-Wan Kenobi during a scene featuring Moses Ingram's Inquisitor Reva.

Of course, it no longer comes as a surprise how Obi-Wan Kenobi will introduce new characters to the fold as it will keep things more interesting. The real question is, apart from this Nabi guy, will the show also reveal the identities of the other Jedi that miraculously made it out alive following the Sith's grand onslaught? I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Obi-Wan Kenobi begins streaming on May 25th, exclusively on Disney+.
