The final episode ended with a bang and a massive surprise for all fans of the franchise with a few notable characters finally making appearances. During the closing moments of Episode Vi, as Obi-Wan was journeying the Tatooine desert, a mysterious entity surfaces out of nowhere, which was then revealed to be none other than Qui-Gon Jinn, played by prequel trilogy icon Liam Neeson.

The hair-raising cameo lasted for only 10 seconds and while it may have looked like it was only included for that much-needed fan service, Qui-Gon's return might be setting up something more.
