As it stands, very little is known about the series apart from the fact that it will be set 10 years after Revenge of the Sith, giving fans a better idea of how things are between Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker who has now taken the mantle of Darth Vader.

Now, a new Star Wars rumor claims that apart from the returning characters in the show, Obi-Wan Kenobi will also mark the debut of a new Jedi character who will become Kenobi's ally and help him even the odds against Vader and his Inquisitors. According to a new report from Making Star Wars, actor and stuntman Tom O’Connell will be playing a Jedi Knight from the Zabrak race, the same species as the fallen Sith Lord Darth Maul.

Hopefully, we'll get more details about the series in the coming days leading up to its highly-anticipated premiere day.
