Obi-Wan Kenobi Series Reportedly Featuring Clone Wars Flashbacks With Vader/Anakin

While Lucasfilm hasn't made any official announcements or updates regarding its highly anticipated Obi-Wan Kenobi series, there have been a number of rumors circulating online the past few months.

Last week, there were reports saying that Star Wars prequel trilogy star Hayden Christensen had been cast to reprise his role as Anakin Skywalker in the Obi-Wan Kenobi series. There were also rumors going around saying that Darth Vader would make an appearance in the show.

Now, according to a report by Kessel Run Transmissions, insiders close to Lucasfilm say that the live-action Star Wars series is going to feature flashbacks to The Clone Wars.

"Last year when the Kenobi series was officially announced my source told me two things. One, that Ahsoka was going to be cast in The Mandalorian, and that Clone Wars flashbacks were going to be featured in Kenobi," the Star Wars news scooper said in the report.

While we do remind fans to take the report with a grain of salt, as with all Star Wars rumors, the source reporting this new Obi-Wan Kenobi update was the very first to report that Ahsoka would be appearing in the second season of Star Wars: The Mandalorian.

If proven true, then Obi-Wan Kenobi could very well sneak in appearances to Anakin and Darth Vader in The Clone Wars flashbacks that it's going to showcase in the series. It's going to be interesting to see what Clone Wars scenes were going to see in the show. We hope that we'll get new moments between Obi-Wan and Anakin that will help drive the narrative of Kenobi. Let's wait and see.

Obi-Wan Kenobi has yet to receive a release date but we'll update fans as soon as we get word.
