Obi-Wan Kenobi Series Might Be Third Star Wars Show On Disney+

People are still hoping for the Obi-Wan Kenobi film that was put on hold following the Solo: A Star Wars Story backlash. But is it possible that the movie has been turned into a different project? There are speculations that the Jedi Master will be the focus of the third Star Wars series that will premiere on Disney+.

It was previously reported that Disney has registered two new production names in the UK. The first one is believed to be the first film in Rian Johnson's Star Wars trilogy while the second one was revealed to be a series that is expected to launch on Disney's streaming service.

So far, there have only been two Star Wars shows confirmed for Disney+. The Mandalorian has already wrapped principal photography while the Rogue One: A Star Wars Story spin-off featuring Diego Luna's Cassian Andor has not yet started production. But what will the third series focus on? Fans believe Disney has decided to turn the Obi-Wan Kenobi film into a series.

It's certainly a hopeful idea but the studio has not yet confirmed anything about the show. For now, we recommend taking this with a grain of salt.

Although we're still unsure if the new Star Wars series will be about Obi-Wan, the Jedi Master's film could also reach the masses through Disney+. ScreenRant theorizes that the movie could be launched on the streaming service. Either way, we're still rooting for Ewan McGregor to reprise his role as Obi-Wan.
