Obi-Wan Kenobi became a major hit when it aired on Disney+ during the summer of 2022. While it was only intended as a six-episode limited series, fans are hoping that it will get a continuation in some capacity.

Ewan McGregor has also expressed his interest in doing a second season of the series and exploring more facets of his iconic fan-favorite character.

So far, Lucasfilm has not indicated any plans to continue the series and show more adventures of Obi-Wan Kenobi before the events of A New Hope as they are mostly focused on exploring the MandoVerse timeline.

Speaking with SlashFilm, Joel Edgerton, who plays Uncle Owen Lears, was asked about the potential second season of Obi-Wan Kenobi.

As expected, he responded by saying that he has no idea whether the series will be getting a second season.

"I haven't heard. Either it's happening and they don't want me. I don't know, I haven't, no. The short answer is no, I haven't. And I'm not even faking that I don't know," he said.

Edgerton also shared his hilarious prediction on the potential second season regarding the costume that he will wear.

The actor added, "But, if it does happen and I am in it, I'll probably be wearing brown, or some shade of brown. That's all I know."

It's not surprising that Edgerton has no information regarding the show's potential second season so the response that he gave in the interview was expected.

The actor was also right to hilariously point out that, when we see Uncle Owen again, it is likely that he will be wearing the same costume that he always had since his appearance in the prequel trilogy.

While Owen is not necessarily a major character in the Star Wars lore and we know that he will end up getting a grim fate in A New Hope, there are still some things that they could explore about the character, especially his relationship with Luke Skywalker during his younger years.

A potential second season is a great avenue for them to explore more of the character dynamics that we've never seen in the other projects.
