Mace Windu's "real" status in the Star Wars universe has piqued the interest of many fans and for close to two decades now, it's still a topic of discussion whether or not Samuel L. Jackson's Jedi character survived the events of Revenge of the Sith where Darth Sidious used Force lightning on him, sending him plummeting to his death.

With Obi-Wan Kenobi nearing its Season 1 finale, fans are eagerly waiting for a potential surprise return from the beloved Jedi Master but it may have already happened during this week's action-packed episode and chances are, most of you missed it.

Eagle-eyed fans of the hit Disney+ series are convinced that Episode 4 featured a blink-and-you'll-miss-it appearance from the perceived fallen Jedi. Some viewers noticed a Jedi who resembles Mace during the scene where Obi-Wan enters a chamber filled with members of the Jedi order who are locked in their respective frozen cells.

Now, while there have been previous reports claiming Mace is set for a massive comeback to the Star Wars franchise, we've yet to confirm if it will in fact take place in the Obi-Wan Kenobi series. Of course, it would make a ton of sense for him to appear considering he has a huge score to settle with Darth Vader but I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Who knows, maybe Lucasfilm will end up surprising us and pull another Luke Skywalker-esque cameo for Season 1's finale.

Obi-Wan Kenobi is streaming exclusively on Disney+.
