Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney+ Series Could Start Production Next Month

It seems like the Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney+ show might actually start production soon if recent reports are anything to go by. After getting delayed due to a number of script issues, which is fine since we'd rather they take long with a good thing than a rush a bad one, new reports are claiming that the Star Wars spin-off could start production as early as next month. A surprise for sure, mostly due to current circumstances and the aforementioned script issues.

According to Making Star Wars, the Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney+ show might start production this September, which is next month. Apparently, filming will also start next month and the show will reportedly film in a "train yard" where they also shot The Mandalorian. That's definitely interesting information if true and we're interested in seeing how they shoot a show like this, given the current COVID-19 epidemic.

We've seen the sets of The Witcher Season 2 put a focus on mask-wearing and social distance so it's safe to assume that Disney and LucasFilm will do the same for this Star Wars series. The fans and the general public wouldn't like it if they didn't follow these safety measures since no one wants to get sick right now.

Many rumors have surrounded the Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney+ show ever since it was released, mostly due to the possible involvement of Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker. Disney and LucasFilm have yet to comment on the matter, though we're sure some BTS photos will prove them true should they pop up.

No release date for the Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney+ show has been announced.
