The wait continues for any updates on the Obi-Wan Kenobi series which is already expected to premiere on Disney+ this year. However, it looks like Star Wars fans could be in for a treat soon. Rory Ross is hyping up the arrival of the show's first teaser claiming that it's going to "blow people's minds!"
Rory Ross recently played a Tusken Raider in The Book of Boba Fett but he will return in Obi-Wan Kenobi as a Stormtrooper. Interestingly, the Star Wars actor couldn't help but gush about the upcoming series and how it will show us what happened to the Jedi Master after Revenge of the Sith.
"It's going to be awesome. It's going to be really, really cool. Having the connective tissue between the prequels and A New Hope, and just understanding where Obi has been and what's happening, story-wise, I think fans are going to enjoy that," Ross told SlashFilm. He then teased the arrival of the show's trailer.
"It's just going to be a really great time. I think a lot of fans are like, 'Where's the trailer? What's happening?' I think the big part of it is [Lucasfilm] is just trying to make sure that it's as polished as possible, so that when it comes out, it's not going to have that Game of Thrones moment, where there's a coffee cup in the corner that they missed or something like that. It's going to have a lot of love that's poured into it, and it's just going to hopefully blow people's minds and just really enjoy seeing what's been going on," Ross said.
There is little doubt that the trailer for Obi-Wan Kenobi is going to be perfect by the time it is dropped. With that in mind, we can't wait to see the teaser soon.
Obi-Wan Kenobi will bring back Ewan McGregor, Hayden Christensen, Joel Edgerton, and Bonnie Piesse. The Star Wars series has not yet been given an official release date. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
