Norman Reedus can't hide his excitement over his upcoming The Walking Dead spinoff. So after revealing its official title, Daryl Dixon, the actor gives another update on how he ends up in a new location.

The Walking Dead is set in the U.S., but Daryl Dixon will be located in France. So, how does it happen? Reedus finally reveals how.

The Walking Dead Season 11 will serve as the show's final season, ending the long-running series that has been on the air for 12 years.

Since Reedus joined the show in its first season and became one of its central protagonists after Rick (Andrew Lincoln) died in the ninth season, he has become the show's leader, going against the antagonist Lance Hornsby (Josh Hamilton).

So from here, how would he end up in France? In an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Reedus talked about the events that would lead him to the European country in Daryl Dixon.

"Somehow, I get put there," he revealed. "I don't go there on my free will."

Though the 53-year-old star didn't give too much away, he then revealed that he personally scouted for his new show's location.

"I've been out there location scouting and casting and everything for the last couple months and it's epic," he continued. "I mean, it's castles, and moats of castles, and it's just crazy."

Who Will 'Put' Daryl in France?

Just like Reedus hinted, his character would not end up in France of his own will. Instead, somebody would bring him there. So, who could it be?

Of course, nobody knows yet, but he may end up having the same fate as Rick.

Rich was captured by the CRM helicopter to be brought to another location in the ninth season.

The CRM has been known for capturing people, like in Fear the Walking Dead. This move was even explored in The Walking Dead: World Beyond.

Now, fans must wait and see who will bring Daryl to France in Daryl Dixon.

The upcoming The Walking Dead spinoff will be out in 2023.
