No Man’s Sky May Have Upgradable ATVs Soon

Gamers have not been that receptive of what No Man's Sky has to offer, whether it's the fiasco of the launch or the rather unimpressive Explorer's Edition.

The latest update that developer Hello Games rolled out for the title, however, may actually be planting something beyond the space adventures that haven't been as hot with players. Fans have started datamining the Foundation Update, and unearthed clues to the inclusion of one land vehicle.

The vehicle in question is an ATV, which could bring a new experience when it comes to exploring and even surviving on a new planet's surface.

Power Up Gaming spotted some of the data files, and these suggest ATVs and other land vehicles, upgradable and customizable with vertical boosters, jet engines, and guns.

It's also possible that these buggies may be part of additional content missions or events. That's because there will be a few steps that No Man's Sky players will need to take before they can get their hands on an ATV. These missions include building a specialist vehicle terminal, hiring a mechanic, and gathering the components for the ATV.

There appears to be a number of combos to upgrade the ATV. It can include the addition of jetpacks, tune-ups, photon cannon, and storage. Each upgrade also has a specific set of abilities from any of the three, Alpha, Beta, and Gamma. This is where customizability comes in, as each upgrade adheres to a specific set of improvements.

Hello Games still has to confirm if the datamined files will be coming to No Man's Sky soon enough. The game would do well to add a couple of other features so it can offer players more things to do in the supposedly promising sci-fi game.
