Nier: Automata's 2B is Coming to Soulcalibur VI

A recent trend with fighting games is bringing in characters from different franchises and adding them to the playable roster. Soulcalibur had already been doing this for a while; and besides bringing Geralt of Rivia from The Witcher into the game, they're also adding 2B from NieR: Automata as a guest character.

Check out the official announcement:

Unlike most characters, 2B is actually playable with three different weapons and she'll also be able to make use of her robot from her game Pod 042 to make long-range attacks. Besides being a playable character herself, 2B also brings in a new stage ripped straight out of NieR: Automata, plus custom music and a variety of available costumes.

You can purchase 2B along with the game's season pass, but there are also a bunch of other characters that everyone is waiting to be announced. Besides Geralt and 2B, a lot of fans have been scratching their heads over who might join the roster for Soulcalibur.

So far, the game has been able to guest Spawn, Link (Legend of Zelda), Ezio (Assassin's Creed), Darth Vader, Yoda, Galen Marek (Force Unleashed), and Kratos (God of War). Not to mention there are also crossover characters from other Bandai Namco games like Heihachi and Yoshimitsu from Tekken.

No specific release date has been announced for 2B in the game, but it's possible that she could be coming out 2019.

Soulcalibur VI is now playable for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
