The amazing trailer for Magic: The Gathering's upcoming set War of the Spark teased the epic war between Nicol Bolas and The Gatewatch, and now, Wizards of the Coast have released a new video revealing the Elder Dragon's grand scheme. The video, narrated by Graham Stark of Loading Ready Run, sums up the events of the previous sets that built up to this epic war.

The video also features some stunning artworks including Raymond Swanland's new art of Nicol Bolas and Liliana with the Chain Veil.

So Bolas is planning to harvest the Planeswalker sparks to cast the Elder Spell and gain ultimate power. This is definitely a great video if you want to catch up to the lore of Magic: The Gathering or if you just want a recap of what happened to the Gatewatch and Nicol Bolas prior to War of the Spark. It looks like Wizards of the Coast have been plotting this epic story for years and it's great to see Nicol Bolas's grand scheme come to fruition in Ravnica. It makes me wonder what's next for Magic. Will Bolas prevail? What will be the consequences of this war?
War of the Spark will be released on May 3, 2019. Prerelease events will take place on April 27-28.
