Nickelodeon Rebooting 'All That' with Kenan Thompson

Every 90s kid remembers All That in Nickelodeon, which was basically Saturday Night Live for children. Nick has been trying to sift through a goldmine of old material and news has it that they'll be bringing back All That for a new generation. What's also cool is, they're bringing back some familiar faces.

According to Variety Kenan Thompson is attached as an executive producer of the show, and it's likely that he'll also be coming back as some of his original characters. Thompson said about returning to All That,"It means everything to me… It was my first job that I ever had. It gave me an opportunity."

Brian Robbins, who was the co-creator of All That, also has this to say about the revival:

"We think there's a great opportunity to find the next pool of stars… We want to bring the show back in a real fun way. This summer, we are going to bring back a lot of the original cast and the cast through the years, and let them introduce the new cast of ‘All That' to the world."

Besides bringing in new sketches, it's also said that the show will be revisiting some classic ones. The aim basically is to get both kids and their parents to check out the show.

All That was one of my all-time-favorite shows when I was a kid, and though I outgrew the humor, some sketches still manage to give me that nostalgic feeling. While sketch shows usually end up hit and miss, I'm sure a new generation of kids will end up loving whoever the new cast is. Plus, I'm excited to see some of the old cast back.

Where's our Kenan and Kel reunion???
