Justice League might not have been the success that fans were hoping for after Wonder Woman, however, Warner Brother's DC Extended Universe still has a whole slew of films ready for development so that they can make it to the big screen, and one of them includes a movie for Nightwing.
Actor and musician Nick Jonas just recently spoke with Comic Book to help promote his newest movie, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle and during the interview the was presented with a picture of Nightwing, asked whether he'd be interested in playing the role. Ever since Warner Bros. announced that it was working on a Nightwing movie fans have been placing their bets on who'd play Batman's former sidekick and a number of fans have been campaigning for Jonas to take the role.
"I would," Jonas responded. "I'd be super down for this. I didn't know there was people vying for me to play this role but keep the chatter alive people! If you vote for me, maybe they'll cast me in it! And then, I don't know, I'll thank you all later."
We wonder whether the community's little campaign will work. Nightwing director Chris Mckay hasn't started casting just yet, but we're hoping that they'll drop the name soon.
Nightwing doesn't have a release date just yet, but we'll let everyone know as soon as we get word.
