IMAX has released a new trailer for X-Men: Dark Phoenix and it serves as a celebration of the entire X-Men movie franchise beginning with the first film back in 2000. The trailer also features previously-revealed footages of Jean Grey unleashing her Phoenix powers.

A new Drew Struzan-inspired poster has also been released to promote the film with the tagline "THE PHOENIX WILL RISE" and it features the entire cast with Sophie Turner's lead role at the top. It also features Jessica Chastain as an unnamed villain.
Dark Phoenix doesn't look as promising as the previous X-Men films. I can't wait to see the franchise join the Marvel Cinematic Universe now that Disney has already acquired 20th Century Fox.
Synopsis:
Jean Grey begins to develop incredible powers that corrupt and turn her into a Dark Phoenix. Now the X-Men will have to decide if the life of a team member is worth more than all the people living in the world.
X-Men: Dark Phoenix is set to release in theaters on June 6.
