New WarnerMedia CEO has been Liking #ReleasetheSnyderCut Tweets

If one internet campaign has been persevering, it's definitely the #ReleasetheSnyderCut fans who want WB to release Zack Snyder's original vision for Justice League. What's interesting is, WarnerMedia's new CEO may be hinting at that being a possibility soon.

As pointed out by @Ser_Jon_Arryn on Twitter, WarnerMedia's New CEO Jason Kilar has been liking tweets featuring the hashtag #ReleasetheSnyderCut. Check it out:

Besides the photo, Kilar has also liked the tweet posted above as well. Other than that, it doesn't seem like he's out to look for #ReleasetheSnyderCut posts; he's just reacting to posts that have tagged him.

Since it's been three years since the release of Justice League, a lot of people are being negative about all this #ReleasetheSnyderCut business. I'm sure the movement would have died down eventually, but director Zack Snyder himself has been encouraging fans to ask for it, hopefully to get WB to have a change of mind. With Snyder constantly posting concept art and scenes that could have happened, fans are filled with nothing but hope that WB will eventually fold and give them what they want.

With most of the focus going to streaming services at the wake of the pandemic, maybe WB could consider a release of the Snyder Cut on HBO Max. Then again, we don't exactly know how much Snyder needs to actually finish the film. For now, all we can really do is wait.

In the meantime, you can just keep tweeting #ReleasetheSnyderCut, and maybe Kilar will have a change of mind down the line.
