Aaron Ehasz made TV history with Nickelodeon's Avatar: The Last Airbender, and now he's teaming up with Netflix with a show called The Dragon Prince. A new trailer has just dropped, and it gives us more on the lore of the world and it also introduces us to new characters.
Xadia and the Human Kingdoms are on the edge of war. Can Callum, Ezran and Rayla overcome dark magic and restore peace to the world?
Admittedly, a lot of people weren't fans of the animation when the first teaser came out, but the story does look interesting, and some fans are willing to overlook the show's flaws as long as the story is quality. Seeing as Avatar was not only filled with rich lore but memorable characters and stories as well, The Dragon Prince is sure to deliver on some level.
It's also been said that a video game is in the works set in the world of The Dragon Prince, and that could explain as to the quality of the animation. My guess is when the game comes out, it will seamlessly meld with the animation style that players would feel like they were playing an episode within the show.
That's just my guess anyway.
