New Trailer for Frank Miller's Cursed Starring Avengers: Endgame’s Katherine Langford

After missing out on playing adult Morgan Stark in Avengers: Endgame, Katherine Langford (13 Reasons Why) is set to star in a new Netflix series, this time a retelling of Arthurian Legend. Check out this new trailer for Cursed.

This show is actually based on a comic from Frank Miller and Thomas Wheeler, and it is a sort of spinoff of the Arthurian legend and focuses on the story of the lady in the lake, Nimue. Before King Arthur, it was Nimue who had wielded Excalibur, and by the time of the series finale, it's likely we'll get to see how Nimue ends up in the lake to bestow the sword to King Arthur.

Admittedly, the series looks a lot like Witcher, especially with all the magic and fantastical creatures. While The Witcher was a hit among fans, it had received quite the mixed reception when it came to critics. I guess no amount of Henry Cavill nudity will make up for a clunky story and somewhat clumsy dialogue.

Though everyone was hoping for The Witcher to be the next Game of Thrones, it looks like that mantle is still set to be received by another series. Maybe Cursed could be the lucky contender.

A teenage sorceress named Nimue encounters a young Arthur on his quest to find a powerful and ancient sword.

Catch all ten episodes of Cursed when it comes out on Netflix this July 17.
