New Trailer for Christopher Nolan’s Tenet Welcomes You to the Afterlife

We just got our first images from Christopher Nolan's Tenet yesterday, but it looks like Christmas came early as we now have the first official trailer for the movie. It's visually dazzling, and just like any trailer for a Nolan film, I absolutely don't get it.

The movie is set to star John David Washington and Robert Pattinson, and other people have described the film to be "James Bond with time travel." While we know the espionage element is there, it looks like the movie will be altering more than just time. I mean, what does it mean that they're in the afterlife? Is this Nolan's adaptation of the anime Gantz?

If anything, I'm sure the narrative will make itself clear when the movie comes out. I'm sure Nolan wants to be very meticulous about what information the audience gets. If you've watched his films, you'll know that he's all about an interestingly told story, and reveals that will blow your mind.

After Dunkirk, I'm kind of missing the action, the blockbuster film that Nolan was known for. While Interstellar got kind of confusing toward the end, I still think Inception is probably one of Nolan's best films. And of course, no one is ever going to forget what The Dark Knight has done for the comic book genre.

Catch Christopher Nolan's Tenet when it comes out on July 17, 2020.
