DC Universe's upcoming web television series Titans is drawing closer and closer to its release that, and Warner Brothers has been pretty busy greasing up the show's promotional campaign wheels.
Now, as the campaign continues, fans get to see a brand new video from Titans showing Beast Boy's (Ryan Potter) transformation.
Released by Entertainment Weekly, the video starts out with Gar Logan showing off his beastly powers, transforming into a tiger in front of Robin (Brenton Thwaites) and the rest of the Titans. When asked why he decided on a tiger, Beast Boy goes on to explain that "tigers have always been my favorite since I was a kid."
Robin doesn't really seem to mind Beast Boy's choice, though he finds it a bit disturbing that Logan has to transform naked. Meanwhile, Starfire (Anna Diop) giggles hysterically.
In the next few clips, fans get to see Beast Boy running in a field as a tiger, running in a field as a human to pick up his clothes, and fighting as a tiger, facing off an enemy with a bat. Logan is pretty cute, and like the wise-cracking Beast Boy in the Teen Titans animated series, this Beast Boy has a certain level of levity. Logan criticizes Robin's decision to trade his Porsche for a minivan and he teases Robin by saying that he wants to meet Batman.
This new clip shows that Titans has a bit of hope – good news to fans who've been worrying about the series ever since the release of the Titans trailer.
Titans makes its way to DC Universe on October 3.
