New The Flash Trailer Reveals More Action-Packed Look at Michael Keaton's Return as Batman

Warner Bros. has released the new trailer for the upcoming DCEU film The Flash. The preview gave us another look at Barry Allen/The Flash's time-traveling/multiversal adventure that resulted in breaking the timeline after his attempt to save his parents.

However, arguably the main highlight of the trailer is the new action-packed look at Michael Keaton's highly-anticipated return as Batman as we see him suit up again and get involved in a lot of fight sequences alongside the two Barry Allens and Supergirl.

They also featured a moment that is a throwback to the original Batman films that Keaton starred in when he said his catchphrase, "You wanna get nuts, let’s get nuts."

The new trailer is certainly another way for them to hype up the audience as word-of-mouth around the industry claims that the film is as great as fans are hoping it to be. DC Studios co-chairman James Gunn even declared it "one of the best superhero movies" a couple of months back.

This preview promises a lot of action and fun that fans and the general audience alike might enjoy when they watch the film this summer. First reactions are expected to arrive tonight after the screening later in the CinemaCon event which will give us an idea of whether it does deliver the hype.

The film's synopsis reads: "Worlds collide in The Flash when Barry uses his superpowers to travel back in time in order to change the events of the past. But when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, Barry becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation, and there are no Super Heroes to turn to."

"That is, unless Barry can coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian... albeit not the one he’s looking for. Ultimately, to save the world that he is in and return to the future that he knows, Barry’s only hope is to race for his life. But will making the ultimate sacrifice be enough to reset the universe?"

Besides Keaton, the cast also includes Ezra Miller, Sasha Calle, Michael Shannon, Ron Livingston, Maribel Verdú, Kiersey Clemons, Antje Traue, and Ben Affleck. Andy Muschietti directed the film.
