Boba Fett Stakes his Claim on Tatooine in New The Book of Boba Fett Teaser

The premiere of The Book of Boba Fett is only a few days away and it seems like we're getting a new teaser every day until then. The latest promo features some new footage from the upcoming Star Wars series and this time, Boba Fett is making it clear that he wants to rule Tatooine.

The new teaser is titled Throne and it opens with Fennec Shand addressing the crime lords who once worked for Jabba the Hutt. "You once accrued wealth and riches under Jabba," she tells them. "You can again with this man Boba Fett," she concludes.

Naturally, these crime lords are quick to question Boba's authority. "What prevents us all from killing you?" one of them asks. "Why speak of conflict when cooperation can make us all rich?" Boba asks back.

We're gonna be honest by saying Boba seems to know what he's doing although being a criminal is not his day job. Still, he makes it clear that he's done with collecting bounties. "I am not a bounty hunter," Boba declares. "I'm the crime lord now."

It's an awesome teaser that confirms Boba means business and will not stop until he takes control of Tatooine. In addition to that, there's an interesting new character who shows up in the promo. This time, it looks like a young woman on a hoverbike. It's unclear if she'll play a major role in the Star Wars series or if she's connected to Boba but we're sure to find out next week.

The Book of Boba Fett brings back The Mandalorian Season 2 stars Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen. They will be joined by The L Word star Jennifer Beals who has previously appeared in the show's first teaser as a mysterious Twi'lek. The series will premiere on Disney+ on December 29, 2021.
