New The Batman Trailer Highlights the Team-Up Between Batman and Catwoman

One of the most anticipated films of 2022 is The Batman which will be a new and fresh take on the Caped Crusader from the vision of director Matt Reeves. Robert Pattinson is set to play the titular hero in his earlier years as Gotham's protector. The first two trailers that were released have fans excited as it looks like the film will be very different from the past Batman films, especially with its detective story.

Today, Warner Bros. released a new trailer for The Batman titled "The Bat and The Cat" which highlighted the working (and possibly romantic) relationship between Batman and Catwoman hence the title of the trailer. It's also more action-packed than the other trailers as it gave us an extended look at the plot of the series and some of the action sequences. You can watch the trailer here:

Besides highlighting the relationship between Batman and Catwoman, the other highlight of the trailer is Paul Dano's Riddler, who we did get to see more in this trailer than in the previous ones and we get to find out his involvement in the plot. The trailer also gave us a hint of a storyline surrounding Andy Serkis' Alfred Pennyworth and a conflict between him and Bruce Wayne.

The new trailer was certainly more plot-driven than the previous ones which focused more on the tone, look and feel of the film. It also had a lot more action sequences whether it's a car chase or on a building. It also showed us that Zoe Kravitz's Catwoman might be the co-lead of the film as they showed a lot of scenes surrounding her and we even get to see her get toe-to-toe for a bit with Batman.

This new look on the film should excite fans and hype up the anticipation even further as we are just less than three months away before it gets released in theaters. Everything so far just looks promising and fingers crossed that the final results of the film will actually deliver.
