New Still from Wonder Woman 1984 Possibly Connects to Black Adam

Wonder Woman 1984 was originally set to come out in June, but thanks to the Coronavirus, we'll have to wait until August for the continuation of Diana's adventures. While we were sure that the movie takes place mostly in the US, we have a new still that confirms a setting outside of America.

We don't really know where the characters are in the image, but I can guess that the Arabic on the signboard could have something to do with Egypt. This actually ties in very well with Diana's armor, seeing that it could easily be inspired by the Egytptian god Horus.

Also, this could connect us to the upcoming Black Adam film, which is said to be introducing us to the likes of Hawkman and Hawkgirl, both having ties with Egypt, at one point even being considered gods by the ancient Egyptians.

Of course, this is just me guessing here. It's possible it could be a completely different location, but until we get some solid confirmation, all we can really do is guess.

For now, Wonder Woman manages to be the only solid franchise from the DCEU featuring a member of the ‘Trinity'. We know that a solo Batman film is already underway, but fans are still holding their breath on a follow-up to Man of Steel starring Henry Cavill. Let's hope we get some progress after quarantine is over.

Wonder Woman 1984 is set to hit theaters on Aug. 14.
