It's been awhile since E3, but Sony has released the latest teaser trailer for Marvel's Spider-Man during Paris Games Week. Unfortunately, we still don't have a clear release date since it ended with the same vague 2018 window we saw during E3, but there was plenty of new footage that made up for it. From what was seen, we can expect plenty of buttkicking from Spidey, and more of Mister Negative.
What some fans will like is the continued inclusion of Miles Morales, who helps Peter Parker out in the Feast shelter run by Martin Li aka Mister Negative. Though we won't know if he will be the second Spider-Man like he is in the comics, it is nice seeing him with a decent supporting role in this game. It also seems like Mary Jane will be playable since there is a certain camera angle in the teaser that makes it look like the player is controlling her.
As for villains, we see Wilson Fisk aka The Kingpin get arrested, while Norman Osborn runs for mayor. There's no indication that Osborn is the Green Goblin in this universe, but it wouldn't be a huge surprise if he was. We also get to see The Shocker blast Spider-Man, confirming that he will be one of the villains we see in this game.
Marvel's Spider-Man is a PS4 exclusive developed by Insomniac Games. No official release date has been revealed.
