There's certainly a lot of things going on in The Flash following the Crisis on Infinite Earths event. Amongst the many mysteries surrounding the season so far, another one will pop up in the form of a return of a familiar face.
The sixth season of The Flash is currently filming in Vancouver. Thanks to new set photos from Canadagraphs, it looks like Grant Gustin will be crossing paths with Godspeed yet again. Although it isn't clear who is under the costume, someone was spotted on set wearing the Godspeed's suit.
The character is said to appear in the eighteenth episode of the sixth season. Godspeed sort of made an appearance on the season six premiere where Team Flash caught a few imposters of the character. Now, it looks like the real Godspeed would possibly be facing off against the Scarlet Speedster. You can check them out here.
Godspeed was created by Joshua Williamson and Carmine Di Giandomenico. He first appeared in The Flash: Rebirth #1. He has the ability to separate speedsters from being connected to the speed force and that he could also potentially be even faster than The Flash. Godspeed is a friend-turned-enemy character once his identity got revealed.
There are a lot of mysteries shrouding his return and it isn't clear if this is also someone who is pretending to be Godspeed that really got The Flash fired up. For now, fans could only wait and see what his return indicates when the episode gets released.
The Flash airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on The CW.
