What's the best way to promote an upcoming film featuring the Scooby Gang? Why not an image teasing Ultra Instinct Shaggy? A new photo from Scoob! may have confirmed that we'll be seeing Shaggy using more than just 1% of his powers, and it's awesome.
The picture was posted by the official Scoob! Twitter account in response to a tweet by Dragon Ball Legends teasing the new Co-Op Battles option. Check it out below.
Oh no, not 5% of his power! But could this mean that Shaggy will be going Ultra Instinct in the upcoming film? Although we'd love to see that, it's still unclear if the beloved meme will be featured in Scoob! next year.
The Ultra Instinct Shaggy meme started back in 2017 when a YouTuber posted a video showing Shaggy taking on a group of thugs from the film Scooby-Doo! Legend of the Phantosaur. The video featured the song Ultimate Battle from the Dragon Ball Super soundtrack and was an instant hit with fans. Since then, there have been several versions of Ultra Instinct Shaggy popping up all over the internet.
The synopsis of Scoob! reads as follows:
"The story features Scooby-Doo on how he met Shaggy, Fred, Daphne and Velma and formed Mystery Inc., and soon face their biggest challenge yet: a plot to summon the ghost dog Cerberus."
Scoob! features a new cast of voice actors including Frank Welker as Scooby, Will Forte as Shaggy, Zac Efron as Fred, Gina Rodriguez as Velma, and Amanda Seyfried as Daphne. The film is scheduled for release on May 15, 2020.
