It took a while but Adult Swim has finally announced when the second-half of Rick and Morty Season 4 will be hitting our television sets; May 3. Fans of the hit show will really enjoy this short video since it has a ton of new footage for us to enjoy, some of which have huge implications for this season. No joke, if you're a hardcore viewer, some of the new imagery here should give us a solid indication of this season's intentions.

The best part? We're only one month away from watching these episodes. It's hard not to be excited about that.

Snowball, Morty's dog who hasn't appeared since season 1, returns here in a quick shot. Tammy Gueterman, the woman who killed fan-favorite character Birdperson after marrying him, is also seen here in a lightsaber duel against Summer. This means that we could see the new incarnation of Birdperson, who we last saw in the finale of season 3 where he was called Phoenixperson.

Honestly, it's just nice to see more Rick and Morty since there aren't a lot of television shows that can match its quality. Sure, there are better-animated programs like Bojack Horseman but you could argue that both shows have different strengths anyway. Plus, you can't deny that the first five episodes of Rick and Morty Season 4 were really good, mixing the show's classic hijinks with some of the meta-commentary that dominated season 3.

Rick and Morty Season 4 will be coming out on May 3 on Adult Swim.
