New Posters for Drew Goddard's Bad Times at the El Royale

Drew Goddard is known for directing Cabin in the Woods, and is currently attached to direct the X-Force movie, and this year will see the release of his film Bad Times at the El Royale. The film boasts a star-studded cast, and now they've released some cool posters focused on eight characters in the film.

Here's the official synopsis for the movie:

Set in the 1960s, seven strangers, each with a secret to bury, meet at Lake Tahoe's El Royale, a rundown hotel with a dark past. Over the course of one fateful night, everyone will have a last shot at redemption - before everything goes to hell.

The trailer looks very interesting, particularly with Chris Hemsworth's character. We know that Hemsworth plays Thor for Marvel Studios, but his role here looks to be a murderous lunatic who channels Buffalo Bill from Silence of the Lambs.

I'm also a huge fan of Jon Hamm, Jeff bridges, and Nick Offerman, so it would be great to see them all come together in one movie.

It may be a long time before we get X-Force out in cinemas, but hopefully this film gives us an idea of what to expect from that movie. Then again, I'm curious if the film manages to move forward after Disney's acquisition of Fox.

Catch Bad Times at the El Royale in theaters Oct. 5.
