Jared Leto, most probably known for his role as the Joker in Suicide Squad, will be playing another comic book character. This time, he's starring in a Marvel-Sony spinoff film titled Morbius. The first trailer has already teased the character's vampire transformation, and a new image spotlights Michael Morbius' monster inside him.

An image has been making the rounds online, which CBM claims is a Comic-Con poster for the upcoming film. The photo shows Leto's character, with a slash on his face, showing his form peeking through. You can check it out below!

Leto's look for this film is truly terrifying and fans are certainly excited to see the character's comic-accurate appearance in the film.

There have already been some blockbuster films set for release just a few months from now that were delayed. Production for Morbius has already wrapped up so filming wasn't affected by the coronavirus pandemic. That said, the VFX team is likely working remotely as well since the movie is scheduled for release by the end of July. Here's the official description for Morbius:

One of Marvel's most compelling and conflicted characters comes to the big screen as Oscar winner Jared Leto transforms into the enigmatic antihero, Michael Morbius. Dangerously ill with a rare blood disorder, and determined to save others suffering his same fate, Dr. Morbius attempts a desperate gamble. What at first appears to be a radical success soon reveals itself to be a remedy potentially worse than the disease.

The cast of Morbius also includes Tyrese Gibson, Matt Smith, Adria Arjona, and Michael Keaton. Morbius is set for release on July 31.
