The new Magic: The Gathering set Throne of Eldraine is finally out in Magic Arena, and to celebrate the release of the fairy tale-themed expansion and the official launch of MTG Arena, Wizards of the Coast has released an epic new video featuring Rocky star Carl Weathers, IT star Sophia Lillis, and Jimmy Wong from the YouTube channel The Command Zone.
The official "Training Montage" video features a young woman (Lillis) training to cast Magic spells with her wizard-mentor played by Weathers, so that she could become defeat her Magic Arena opponent, Jimmy Wong.

We actually saw a glimpse of this epic video when Magic head designer Mark Rosewater and Jimmy Wong talked about the upcoming MTG sets in a video released earlier this month. It's great to see that Wizards of the Coast is featuring more cinematic MTG videos and trailers this year. The War of the Spark and Throne of Eldraine trailers looked epic, and this one was entertaining to watch. This shows that they're serious in making Magic Arena as big as it could get.
Throne of Eldraine, the 82nd Magic expansion, is set to release on October 4. Prerelease events will take place on September 27 to 29. It's now available on Magic Arena with a Limited (Sealed) event to kick off its launch.
